BRISBANE big man Oscar McInerney will be assessed during the week for concussion after suffering a head knock against Melbourne at the Gabba on Sunday.
Shortly before half-time, McInerney went low to contest a disputed ball and his head made solid contact with the hip region of Demon playmaker Christian Salem.
McInerney, who was left groggy and bloodied, left the field in the hands of trainers.

He sat out the remainder of the game.
Following the match coach Chris Fagan said McInerney had concussion but no further damage.
"I don't think there's any breaks or anything like that with his nose," Fagan said.
"He's got concussion, so it'll be interesting to see how he goes this week.
"I wouldn't be sure for next weekend.
"Obviously no risk will be taken. We'll see how he progresses through the week."
