ROUND four was an eye-opener for coaches rolling with the guns and rookies strategy, as many of the youngsters seem to have hit the wall at the same time. That could cause some selection headaches on the back a handful of injuries and Match Review issues surrounding some popular players.
Fantasy Pig
Patrick Cripps went full beast mode against the Suns and demonstrated how hard he is to stop when he gets in the zone. The Blues skipper did his best to drag his teammates over the line for their first win of the season (albeit falling short) with 30 possessions, eight mark and 12 tackles to go with two goals for a monumental 163, saving the round for many of his coaches. He played a whopping 92 per cent game time, which is big compared to many of the elite midfielders of the competition.
Honourable mention: Brodie Grundy has left non-owners scrambling after another dominant performance to remind everyone he is the must-have big man in the competition. Although many rucks have unexpectedly struggled to score against the Dogs, Grundy showed no mercy for Tim English, racking up 58 hitouts, laying eight tackles and collecting 23 possessions for 153.
NINE THINGS WE LEARNED Tigers still have the AFL's best defender
Rage Trades
If you have stayed strong and held Josh Dunkley, its time to bite your pride and trade. Earlier in the season, it appeared it was just a form issue, but now he seems to be spending less time through the midfield and a combination of the two is resulting in a must-trade scenario. He managed to collect 15 possessions, take five marks and kick a goal but his 67 is a far cry from what we saw at the end of 2018.
Honourable mention: Patrick Dangerfield had his first poor outing of the season and it was salt in the wound for coaches that put the C on him. After a solid first half, the Giants put the clamps on him in the second half, keeping him to just 17 possessions for the match and just one mark for 66. He will have an incident with his tagger Matt de Boer reviewed but hopefully there wasn’t enough in it to miss any time.

Jack Ross found his way into the Tigers' line-up due to a growing list of injuries and suspension … along with some great VFL form, of course. Well, he won’t be going back to the VFL anytime soon after an awesome debut where he gathered 25 possessions and laid five tackles for 86. The youngster not only showed he is already capable at the top level, he confirmed he is best 22. A special mention also has to go to my boy Sam Walsh who had 28 possessions and a goal for 119 … once again smashing most of my ‘premium’ midfielders.

@RoyDT Hmm playing between to options

Sheed/Williams Out for Whitfield/hatley (with ward out)
Or
Mcrae/Williams Out for
Neale / Johansson or Ellis
Thoughts??
I would be taking the option with Whitfield!
@AFLFantasy @RoyDT @WarnieDT @CalvinDT G'day Legends, Would you trade Brodie Smith to Rory Laird or as a point of difference (owned by 2% of Teams) bring in Zak Jones and that leaves more cash in my war chest. Jones seems to be running through the centre more this year? TIA
— Pete Buckle (@PeteBuckle23) April 14, 2019
I also like the Jones role, but I would be taking Laird every day.
Sic or Stewart in? @RoyDT @WarnieDT @CalvinDT

Can’t believe I am saying this but Stewart is scoring well in wins and losses, hard to pass up.
2060, time for Sheed to go! #AFLFantasy

Gaff is not good for Sheed, has to go.

That’s what I’m talking about! Great work.
