STAR Fremantle defender Ebony Antonio has capped off an impressive season in the NAB AFL Women's competition by taking out the club's best and fairest award.
Antonio polled 89 votes to finish ahead of last year's winner Dana Hooker (85), while skipper Kara Donnellan (79) rounded out the top three.
The 26-year-old was also named in the Virgin Australia All Australian team this season.
Dockers coach Michelle Cowan said Antonio had no qualms about being sent to various positions on the field.
"Ebony was really focused on having a consistent season and that's what we saw her do," Cowan said.
"She really embraced the role down back and importantly, had the flexibility throughout the season to go forward for us.
"To have her put up such a strong and consistent season makes her a deserving winner tonight."
Antonio also took home the players' award while Lisa Webb was named the best clubwoman.
The club championship is voted on by Cowan and three other coaches, with a score between zero and five given to each player after every game.
