COLLINGWOOD veteran Travis Varcoe has suffered yet another hamstring problem.
The classy speedster left the field in the third term of the Magpies’ 35-point win over the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
Varcoe has had several hamstring problems during his time at Collingwood and this latest issue will raise further questions over the 30-year-old’s durability.
Pies coach Nathan Buckley said Varcoe had likely sustained a hamstring strain.
“He said he didn't feel that much (pain) but it just tightened up. So we’ll see how he tracks,” Buckley revealed post-match.The Magpies have endured a cursed run with hamstring injuries with the other victims this year including Jordan De Goey, Taylor Adams, Jamie Elliott, Darcy Moore and Josh Smith.
Meanwhile, Bulldogs defender Zaine Cordy was out of the game before half-time with concussion.
