BEN COUSINS may have a chequered past, but he's still an inspiration to at least two young Eagles.
West Coast youngster Willie Rioli shared a photo on social media, catching up with the Eagles' Brownlow medallist inside the club's Subiaco headquarters.
Cousins is pictured wearing a West Coast polo shirt, and looks almost completely different to the clean-cut athlete turned party boy Australia came to know during the height of his football career.
Cousins, 39, is working in the Eagles' community department. His employment was a condition of his parole, after serving 10 months in prison for stalking and breaching a court order.
Rioli – cousin of Hawks superstar Cyril – posted Cousins is "still a legend in our eyes" and says he and first-year draftee Liam Ryan were "honoured to meet him" and they shared a laugh with the fallen star.
Cousins' role at the Eagles has nothing officially to do with the AFL team itself.
The picture was later deleted.
