ADELAIDE skipper Taylor Walker is "very confident" he will return to face Port Adelaide in Showdown 44 at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
Vice-captain Rory Sloane (foot) also looms large, while defender Wayne Milera is likely to miss with an injury behind his knee.
Walker didn't play in Saturday night's 55-point win against Gold Coast with a hamstring complaint.
"I've got to get through training this week, but I'm a good chance to play this week," Walker said.
"I'm very confident.
"I've done a fair bit of training the last seven, eight days, so I'm in great order to be able to play on the weekend. (Sloane) will be a good chance as well.
"We had to back him off a little bit to then go forward. He had a bit of a sore foot.
"He's been able to do a fair bit of training as well, so he will be fresh and ready to go Saturday."

Walker appeared to confirm Milera had an issue with his hamstring – the eighth Crows player to have a hamstring injury this year.
"He's pulled up pretty well, similar to mine, I think. He'll get some scans throughout the next couple of days and we'll find out exactly what's wrong," Walker said.
"The large injury list isn't ideal. Ideally you'd like to have your best players' playing.
"We review our program every day of the week, so we'll have to keep doing that to find the reason why we're getting so many injuries."
The Power are likely to recall midfielders Sam Powell-Pepper and Tom Rockliff after both have played the past two weeks in the SANFL.
"Both those guys in the last couple weeks have played some really good footy, they'll definitely put their hand up for selection and both are very good contested ball players," Power skipper Travis Boak said.
"They'll have a good week on the track and there's a big chance they'll put their hand up for selection."
The Crows have won the past five Showdowns and hold a 22-21 advantage overall.
"We're really hungry to turn that around, there's no doubt about that," Boak said.
"The whole club and our supporters, it's been long enough that we haven't won one, so we're pretty hungry to get out there.
"There's no doubt the fire is still there (in Showdowns), the rivalry is always going to be there.
"The way they've been played, it shows there's still a lot of fire there."
The Crows and the Power will be playing for the Variety Showdown Shield in the first of a three-year partnership with the charity organisation, Variety.
The award for the best on ground will be called the Variety Showdown Medal.
