SYDNEY ruckman Callum Sinclair has accepted a $1000 fine after being found guilty of staging for an incident early in the third quarter with the Swans trailing Carlton by a point on Friday night at the SCG.
Sinclair had won a free kick in his side's forward line after being held by opposing big man Matthew Kreuzer at a boundary throw-in, and after being lightly nudged by Patrick Cripps, went to ground.
The umpire did not think there was anything in the contact, saying: "There's nothing in it, you've fallen over.”
Sinclair slotted the goal.
Meanwhile, Carlton defender Sam Rowe was fined $1500 for misconduct against Sydney superstar Lance Franklin. He too has accepted his penalty.
