ADELAIDE has secured the services of dual Sturt premiership-winning coach Martin Mattner as an assistant coach for next year.
Sturt informed the club's members via email on Monday morning after the Double Blues finished their SANFL campaign on Sunday, losing to North Adelaide in an elimination final at Adelaide Oval.
Mattner will fill one of several vacancies in the Crows' coaching structure.
Forwards coach Josh Francou left one year into a three-year contract, development coach Tate Kaesler has joined Gold Coast and SANFL coach Ryan O'Keefe has returned to Melbourne.

Mattner, 36, played 222 games in an AFL career split between the Crows (98 games, 2002-07) and Sydney (124 games, 2008-13), including as a premiership player at the Swans in 2012.
After retiring, he became a development coach at the Swans for three seasons before taking on the head coaching role with Sturt.
Mattner led the Double Blues to back-to-back premierships in 2016 and 2017, and they finished fourth this year after bowing out of the finals in straight sets.
"As a player and coach, Marty knows what it takes to achieve the ultimate success," Crows head of football Brett Burton said.
"Not only is he a quality person, but he has a proven record of helping young and experienced players alike improve their games.
"His positive influence at Sturt stretched beyond the (SANFL) side to the reserves and juniors, and we look forward to him joining our coaching department."
Mattner's role is yet to be determined as the Crows finalise their coaching panel.
Fellow assistant coach Ben Hart, who looked after the defence this year, has committed to the club for next season.
