ADELAIDE could be without consistent defender Luke Brown for its crunch clash with Hawthorn at the MCG on Saturday.

Crows forward Josh Jenkins went to the rooms before quarter-time after hurting himself in a marking contest, but returned shortly after and played out the game, while Kyle Hartigan was felled in a marking contest in the last term, but stayed on the ground.
Injury-prone Docker Alex Pearce will miss the trip to Melbourne to take on Carlton at the MCG on Saturday, and possibly more, after breaking his thumb against Adelaide on Sunday.
Pearce was assisted from the field late in the final term following a collision with teammate Joel Hamling in a marking contest. Coach Ross Lyon suggested post-match the in-form backman would require surgery.
Veteran St Kilda defender Nathan Brown will be assessed during the week, after he was concussed in the first half of the Saints’ humiliating loss to Sydney on Saturday night.

Greater Western Sydney ruckman Rory Lobb has escaped serious injury, but teammate Daniel Lloyd wasn’t as lucky.
Lobb was taken to hospital during the Giants' huge win over the Suns on Saturday, after copping a blow to the ribs.
Lloyd has a medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury to his left knee and will miss weeks.
Richmond will be sweating on the fitness of defender David Astbury ahead of the Tigers’ mouth-watering clash with Geelong on Sunday.
Astbury limped from the field in the second term on Friday night with a left ankle concern, but had it re-strapped and played out the game.
Geelong's Tom Stewart also left the ground with an ankle problem, but he too came back on and finished the match.
Fellow Cats defender Aaron Black hyperextended his left knee early in the third quarter and took no further part, while midfielder Sam Menegola went into the rooms during the final quarter after a lower back complaint, but returned.

Essendon captain Dyson Heppell will doubtless appreciate a week off, after he was left concussed from a Luke Hodge bump in the second term of the clash against the Lions.

The Bombers’ next game is in Perth in round 14 (on Thursday, June 21) against the Eagles.
