COLLINGWOOD captain Scott Pendlebury has failed to recover from an ankle injury and will miss Sunday's clash with Geelong at the MCG.
The skipper, who didn't take part in any of the Pies' main session on Friday, will be replaced by Ben Crocker.
For Geelong, Scott Selwood's back injury – which was announced on Saturday – sees him replaced by George Horlin-Smith in the final 22.
Horlin-Smith will start on the bench alongside Sam Menegola, Jack Henry and Jackson Thurlow.

For Collingwood, Jordan De Goey, Travis Varcoe, Darcy Moore and the returning Daniel Wells will start on the bench.
In Sunday's VFL match across the road at Olympic Park, Crocker and Josh Daicos were Collingwood's carryover emergencies, while Zach Guthrie sat out for Geelong.
Returning forward Jamie Elliott re-injured his hamstring playing in the VFL.
