EXCITING duo George Hewett and Tom Papley have extended their contracts at Sydney by two years.
The pair will now be at the Swans until at least the end of 2020.
Hewett was the youngest player taken in the 2013 NAB AFL Draft when he was snapped up at pick 32, and after not playing a senior game in his first two years, has played 48 in the past two seasons.
The 21-year-old finished fifth in the best and fairest this year, behind Luke Parker, Lance Franklin, Jake Lloyd and captain Josh Kennedy.
Hewett's debut in round one, 2016, was also the first match for small forward Papley, who also quickly became a regular.
The 2015 Rookie Draft selection has kicked 59 goals in 40 games the past two seasons.
"Tom’s development during his two seasons with the Swans has been significant," head of football Tom Harley said.
"He came to us via the Rookie Draft to service a specific need and impacted immediately.
"We love his natural competitive drive and see him playing a large role in the future.
"The fact that George didn’t debut until his third year with the Swans is a credit to his character and resilience.
"He is an extremely trusted and respected member of the playing group."
