WRECKING Collingwood's 125th anniversary celebrations in round seven was among Carlton fans' 2017 season highlights.
Despite the Blues reaping just six wins and a 16th-placed finish, fans are confident their club is on the right track.
Giving their season verdict in an AFL.com.au survey, 96 per cent of Blues fans were happy with coach Brendon Bolton's year.
Ruckman Matthew Kreuzer's comparatively injury-free year was his best yet. He was recognised by fans as the Blues' player of the season, followed by All Australian Sam Docherty.
Here are the full survey results, plus a selection of Carlton fans' moments to remember and forget.
What was the moment you'll remember?
Daisy Thomas kicking the sealer against Collingwood to spoil their 125th year anniversary.
- Jonathan D'Assisi, Noble Park North Vic
Beating GWS, the premiership favourites at the time. Showed the supporters we are on the right track.
- Muhammad Saad, Coburg Vic
Beating Hawthorn towards the end of the season. A tough, gritty game, we defied the critics and gutsed out a very impressive win.
- William Crohan, Ardross WA
Marc Murphy's goal from the pocket in the driving rain against Essendon.
- George Sillyarkis, St Kilda East Vic
What was the moment you'd rather forget?
Losing to lowly Brisbane after a run of close losses to much higher ranked teams over the previous month. Frustrating!
- Frank Lee, Clonbinane Vic
The Melbourne game where Patty Cripps broke his leg and we failed to win a game we deserved to.
- Shane Budd, Wynn Vale SA
The game against Port Adelaide, when we got torn apart and lost by 90 points.
- Tom Keast, Highton Vic
After solid performances all season, the final game was one to forget. Not all of us enjoy watching Buddy kick 10.
- Peter Barrow, Bendigo Vic
Blues fans' season rating
5.7/10
