BRISBANE Lions youngster Daniel McStay has extended his time in Queensland, signing a new two-year deal.
McStay, pick No.25 in the 2013 NAB AFL Draft, will remain a Lion until at least the end of 2019.
The 22-year-old is the latest young Lion to re-sign, joining Harris Andrews, Ben Keays, Sam Skinner and the high profile signature of Josh Schache.
Lions general manager of football David Noble was thrilled to see McStay sign on.
"We’re really pleased to have Dan re-sign with the club," Noble said.
"We see Dan as a long-term player for us and believe he has a strong part to play in our future.
"This re-signing is another indication of our players buying into our Club.
"To have Dan join a number of our guys in re-committing to the Lions already this year is important for both the present and the future of our club."
