THE FIRST Western Derby of the season is close to selling out, with only 500 tickets remaining for West Coast's pre-season clash against Fremantle in Geraldton.
The Eagles and Dockers meet in the second week of the JLT Community Series on February 25 at Wonthella Oval in WA's mid-west.
West Coast is poised to unveil star recruit Sam Mitchell in the pre-season derby after the former Hawthorn captain recovered from an ankle complaint.
The Dockers, who don't travel outside WA for their pre-season schedule, will be led by new captain Nat Fyfe.

The JLT Community Series clash between North Melbourne and the Hawks at Arden Street later this month has already sold out.
