A HOT run of form from St Kilda midfielder Jack Steven in his return from a punctured lung has seen him move up to equal-fifth in the AFL.com.au Brownlow Medal predictor.
Steven has polled all eight of his votes in the past three weeks to draw level with West Coast half-back Elliot Yeo and North Melbourne hard nut Ben Cunnington.
Dual Adelaide best and fairest Rory Sloane is still in the clear lead with 12 votes while Richmond gun Dustin Martin and Western Bulldogs premiership player Marcus Bontempelli joined Port Adelaide star Ollie Wines in second, with nine votes.

Steven, 27, missed a couple of matches earlier this year after playing out the final minutes of the clash with West Coast in round two with a punctured lung.
He returned with 30 disposals against Geelong, before picking up 36 versus Hawthorn and following that up with 29 and two goals in the win against Greater Western Sydney last Friday night.
The Saints come up against Carlton this week and the first time he faced the Blues last year, he was awarded three Brownlow votes.
As of Monday afternoon, the triple St Kilda club champion was on the 11th line of betting with Crownbet at $41.
He opened the season at $34 but was pushed out to $67 after the game against the Eagles.
Sloane maintains the mantle of favourite at $4.25 while Geelong superstar Patrick Dangerfield is at $4.50, despite a relatively quiet run of form.
Dangerfield is on seven votes in the Brownlow predictor.
