THINGS are starting to get serious, so we're back to help you through another weekend of Draftstars with our round 15 cheat sheet. For more information, visit draftstars.com.au

Melbourne v Sydney, MCG, Friday night

It has been a while since we played Draftstars in the 'turbo' format, so why not return in this huge game? A reminder: in turbo Draftstars, there's no salary cap but you need to select a player from six different tiers.

Josh Kennedy (MID, $15,100) was outstanding last week with 118 points against Essendon, so is our pick in the top tier, just ahead of teammate Isaac Heeney (FWD/MID, $13,650). We're going with Melbourne midfielder Dom Tyson (MID, $12,700) because Jack Viney (MID, $13,500) might be a little sore, while Lance Franklin's (FWD, $12,350) average of 94 points a week is the best of the tier three players.

The choices get a little harder thereafter. Cam Pedersen (FWD/RK, $11,150) has been great since coming into Melbourne's line-up but only scored 65 points last week with Max Gawn (RK, $12,950) back in the ruck. Nevertheless, he looks the best option in the fourth group, while Christian Petracca's (FWD/MID, $10,500) 75-point average makes him our pick in tier five.

For the final spot in our turbo line-up, Melbourne's Billy Stretch (MID/DEF, $9750) gets the nod. He gathered 76 points last week in his return to the senior side and has averaged that in six games this season.

Western Bulldogs v West Coast, Etihad Stadium, Saturday

Bulldogs pair Jack Macrae (MID, $14,850) and Marcus Bontempelli (MID, $14,700) showed their class last week with scores above 130 to help the Dogs to a one-point win over North Melbourne. Macrae's average has now lifted to 100 for the season, and he's become a very popular midfield option because of that consistency.

It was a little bit surprising who sat third on the Dogs' scoring list last week, with ruckman Tom Campbell (FWD/RK, $10,750) posting a 125-point effort. Campbell has played just five games this year but could be a unique ruck choice – he's averaged 84 at AFL level in 2017.

An old stager, Drew Petrie (FWD, $10,750), was the best scorer for West Coast in their last-gasp defeat to Melbourne with 121 points. Jeremy McGovern (DEF, $11,350) and Andrew Gaff (MID, $13,700) were the only other Eagles to surpass the 100-point barrier, with it being Gaff's eighth triple-figure score for 2017.

Elliott Yeo (FWD/MID, $13,050) was slightly down on his season's form with 87 points (he has averaged 105 points in 13 games). Watch him rebound. Also, we've tipped Dom Sheed (FWD/MID, $12,650) to start a scoring surge and it's happening – he's averaging 100 over the past five weeks.

Carlton v Adelaide, MCG, Saturday

It's no surprise Sam Docherty (DEF, $17,150) sat atop the Carlton scoring ranks last week, after the defender gathered 126 points to push his average to 121.6 a round. Only five players in the competition have scored as much as Docherty this season, but he will cost you a fair chunk of your salary cap.

There weren't any surprises in Carlton's scorers last year, and that's the way it tends to be. Their big guns, including midfielder Bryce Gibbs (MID, $16,750) and ruckman Matthew Kreuzer (RK, $14,800), average above 100. Nick Graham (MID, $11,250) is a second-tier midfield option and has averaged 82 in his past five games.

Hugh Greenwood (FWD/MID, $11,500) has been a revelation for the Crows since coming into their line-up five weeks ago. The Crows newcomer scored 122 points in last week's loss to Hawthorn, and is averaging 82.6 a game. Bring him in, because a lot of Draftstars coaches have.

Adelaide midfielder Matt Crouch (MID, $13,650) was outstanding with 128 points against the Hawks. He's still relatively unique as a top midfield option, with many coaches looking elsewhere for their A-graders, but his 102-point average stacks up.

Gold Coast v North Melbourne, Metricon Stadium, Saturday

Jarrod Witts (RK, $13,000) is fast becoming one of the most appealing ruckmen in the competition. The ex-Magpie scored 109 points in last week's loss to St Kilda, meaning he has hit triple figures twice in the past three weeks, and has also had two totals in the 90s in that period.

Suns youngsters Brayden Fiorini (MID, $12,250), Jack Martin (FWD, $9850) and Callum Ah Chee (FWD, $9750) stood up in the absence of Gary Ablett last week. Fiorini was brilliant with 111 points, and in time will be a consistent scorer. Right now, the second-year Sun is probably not quite there, but there's no doubting his ball-winning abilities.

The Roos don't have too many appealing Draftstars options. Shaun Higgins (FWD/MID, $12,300) is solid, and has kept up his 91-point average for most of the season, but he has only passed 100 three times this season, so he's unlikely to be your matchwinner.

Neither will be Todd Goldstein (RK, $12,800), but the ruckman remains a good pick for that vital position in your nine-player line-up. Goldstein managed 87 points last week against the Bulldogs, but is averaging nearly 94 over the past five weeks. While he's not in career-best form, Goldstein will still bring in some good points.

Greater Western Sydney v Geelong, Spotless Stadium, Saturday night

The game of the round offers plenty of quality Draftstars options. We hope you took our advice last week that Jeremy Cameron (FWD, $12,050) was a man to watch. He delivered after two quiet weeks with a huge 132 points in the Giants' win over Brisbane, while forward partner Jonathon Patton (FWD, $10,050) scored 133 – well above his 68-point average.

Small forward Toby Greene (FWD/MID, $13,750) continues to be a Draftstars powerhouse after 117 points against the Lions, while our man Lachie Whitfield (MID, $14,400) scored another ton – his third consecutive triple-figure score. Oh, and Josh Kelly (MID, $15,450) is back from injury too.

Geelong superstar Patrick Dangerfield (MID, $17,350) stood up last week when the Cats – and Draftstars coaches – needed him, pulling out a monster 134-point effort against Fremantle. He remains the Cats' most reliable option, but will cost you plenty.

Sam Menegola (MID, $14,600) isn't far off in terms of production, but should give you a point of difference. He scored 124 points last week and is averaging 99 for the season, while Zach Tuohy (DEF, $12,250) responded to a down week in round 13 with 112 points against the Dockers. He's been a very good pick-up this season.

Port Adelaide v Richmond, Adelaide Oval, Saturday night

Sam Powell-Pepper (MID, $10,650) has been a revelation in his debut season, and he got back to his best Draftstars scoring last week against the Pies. Powell-Pepper's 92-point effort was his most since round two. For his price, he's a reasonably valuable choice.

Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $13,000) was brilliant in last week's win over Collingwood with 99 points, which was the most of any Port player in an even performance. Ollie Wines (MID, $14,550) continues his strong season with 95 points, while Sam Gray (FWD/MID, $11,550) went better than expected. He racked up 92 points, better than his 79-point average.

A smokey choice pulling out a blinder is what can make or break your Draftstars weekend. So if you had Richmond's Kane Lambert (FWD/MID, $11,550) last week, you would have been pleased. The Tigers midfielder gathered 114 points and he's in good form, averaging 104 the past three weeks. Worth a look.

Brandon Ellis (MID/DEF, $13,300) was good last week against Carlton with 89 points, while Shaun Grigg (MID, $13,650) is a largely underrated Draftstars midfield choice. He's averaging 112.8 points in the past five weeks, which ranks him among the elite.

Essendon v Brisbane Lions, Etihad Stadium, Sunday

David Zaharakis (MID, $13,300) is on a hot streak. The Essendon midfielder is averaging 110 for his past five weeks, and his 105-point effort last week against Sydney was the fifth time in his past six games he has surpassed triple figures. It's been a convincing run.

Michael Hurley (DEF, $12,100) is another Bomber in scoring form after his 105 points against the Swans, and he's averaged 93 the past five weeks. And as for Zach Merrett (MID, $16,350) well, do we really even need to say it? Another 120 points last week meant he held his spot as the second-highest scorer in the AFL.

Lions midfielder Rhys Mathieson (MID, $11,900) was building towards a bigger score in recent weeks, so it was no shock to see him crack the 100 for the first time this season last week. In his four games this season he's scored more than the previous outing, so could be worth a go.

Alex Witherden (DEF/MID, $9450) made a classy debut with 77 points and he's shown an ability to find the ball at NEAFL level. While he's cheap, he could be one of your final selections because the Lions will look to use him out of the backline.

Hawthorn v Collingwood, MCG, Sunday

All the attention has been on Tom Mitchell (MID, $17,400) as the Hawks' best recruit this season, and fair enough, too. His 117 points last week keeps him as the competition's leading scorer. But ex-Crow Ricky Henderson (MID/DEF, $13,300) has also been a nice pick-up in the Draftstars competition, averaging 92 points. He also picked up 120 points in last round's win over Adelaide.

Shaun Burgoyne (DEF, $12,400) is in the twilight of his career but continues to produce strong scores. Last week's 114-point effort pushed his average to 81 a round, solid for a player his price.

Jeremy Howe (DEF, $13,700) has become a genuine Draftstars option in defence and continues to score brilliantly as he heads towards perhaps his first All Australian jumper. Howe scored 118 points last week against Port Adelaide and has averaged 91 points this season.

He was one of six Pies to hit triple figures last week in their defeat, with Steele Sidebottom (MID, $16,600) scoring 124 points. Sidebottom is a rarer choice than more popular Pies Scott Pendlebury (MID, $17,100) and Adam Treloar (MID, $16,500), but his numbers stack up.

Fremantle v St Kilda, Domain Stadium, Sunday
We've loved the season of Bradley Hill (MID, $12,300). Since crossing from Hawthorn to Fremantle, Hill has averaged 95.8 points a game, and last week he gathered 112 in the Dockers' tight loss to Geelong. He should be high on your list of Fremantle options.

Michael Walters (FWD, $11,950) missed the last-gasp shot that would have been a matchwinner last week, but for Draftstars coaches his 122-point effort might have got a few sides over the line. Darcy Tucker (DEF, $8950), who scored 99 against the Cats, and Lachie Weller (FWD/DEF, $10,700), are cheaper Dockers choices.

More people are jumping on the Jack Billings (FWD, $13,300) bandwagon, and for good reason. The emerging Saints star gathered 111 points in a best-on-ground showing last week against Gold Coast, lifting his average to 96.4 over the past five rounds. He's nearing the top bracket.

Koby Stevens (MID, $14,500) has also been a Draftstars revelation since coming into the Saints midfield. The former Western Bulldog has averaged 96 points in his seven appearances, and last week reached a season-high 115 points.
