WEST Coast defender Will Schofield will join Richmond's Bachar Houli at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night to challenge his two-match ban for striking Melbourne onballer Clayton Oliver.
Houli could escape with a two-week penalty from the Tribunal for the swinging left arm that left Carlton's Jed Lamb concussed and unable to return to the game.
The Tribunal will sit at 5.30pm AEST on Tuesday night and AFL.com.au will run a live blog.
The Match Review Panel graded the incident intentional and high impact but if Houli pleads guilty immediately, his suspension could be reduced by a week.
If the Tribunal considers that Houli's action was intentional, the Tiger will likely be suspended for three or four weeks.
Tigers ruckman Toby Nankervis missed a week for a similar incident when he struck Adelaide's David Mackay with an elbow in round six, while Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe escaped with a $1000 fine in the same week for a swinging arm that hit West Coast's Elliot Yeo.
Both of those were graded careless, which is how Houli's offence would need to be graded for him to miss only two matches.
Richmond faces Port Adelaide, St Kilda, the Brisbane Lions and Greater Western Sydney over the next month.
The MRP found Schofield intentionally struck Oliver with low impact to the head.
Eagles coach Adam Simpson quipped on radio 6PR on Monday night he hoped Oliver "made the flight back" to Victoria after the Demon faced accusations of staging.

North Melbourne tough nut Ben Cunnington will miss the Roos' clash with Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium on Saturday after he accepted a one-match ban for striking Western Bulldog Toby McLean.
The Tribunal will sit for the first time since Brisbane Lions onballer Tom Rockliff successfully challenged a fine for a stray elbow to West Coast Brownlow medallist Matt Priddis in June last year.
Meanwhile, Sydney's Luke Parker and Dane Rampe, Essendon's Joe Daniher, Brisbane Lion Nick Robertson, Western Bulldog Easton Wood and Fremantle's Hayden Ballantyne and Michael Walters all accepted fines.
