RICHMOND has been fined $5000 for failing to provide complete and up to date player whereabouts information to ASADA after cancelling a training session and not immediately updating its training schedule.
Under the AFL's Anti-Doping Code, clubs are required to keep ASADA notified at all times of the whereabouts of listed players for testing purposes.
Failure to supply the relevant authority with all information relating to team and player whereabouts within a prescribed time frame can lead to the club being fined.
Port Adelaide was hit with a $2500 fine under the same rules after it did not immediately notify ASADA that an unwell player was to miss an upcoming training session.
