PORT Adelaide ruckman Patrick Ryder is disappointed he let his frustrations get the better of him in lashing out at Adelaide forward Riley Knight.
Ryder was reported after making high contact with Knight off the ball in the late stages of Saturday night's 17-point loss to the Crows at Adelaide Oval.
If suspended, he will miss Saturday's game against Greater Western Sydney at Manuka Oval in Canberra.

Power forwards coach Brendon Lade said Ryder reacted to continual pressure from the Crows during the game.
"Teams probably think it wears the opposition ruckman down over a period of time and hopefully they will snap, and unfortunately Paddy did," Lade said.
"If you watch the incident where Paddy got reported, just before Riley Knight bumped him, so it's just little things like that that annoy the opposition.
"A lot of teams would do that now when the other team only has one ruckman."
Lade was confident it was a one-off incident and Ryder would learn from his mistake.
"It's a rare moment for Paddy," Lade said.
"I don't think you've ever seen that in his 150-game career.
"He's a player that genuinely goes for the ball and plays the ball hard, so I'm not concerned about that at all.
"He knows what's wrong and right.
"He was disappointed. Other than that, he played a great game."
Experienced ruckman Matthew Lobbe is the favourite to come into the side if Ryder is suspended, while Billy Frampton is also in the mix.
Defender Jasper Pittard returned from a hamstring injury in the SANFL last weekend, but it would be a tough call to break up a Power backline that has been in good form.
"Jasper got a full game and did some really good things as well," Lade said.
"He'll be up for selection, no doubt."
Around the state leagues: Who shone in your club's twos?
Forward Chad Wingard arrived at Alberton on Monday morning with a limp, while Aaron Young picked up a knock to his shoulder in the first quarter of the Showdown.
"(Young) went to Brodie Smith after half-time and did a really good job," Lade said.
"I'm not sure if he had pain relief during the game, but he'll get assessed during the week."
The Power (2-1) will be keen to bounce back against the Giants after suffering their first loss of the season.
"What I've seen is this group has rebounded well," Lade said.
"We lost two JLT games, lost two quarters in those first two games really badly and the ability to bounce back has been unbelievable, so we're excited about the challenge of playing the second-best team in the competition this week."
