INJURY-PRONE North Melbourne defender Ed Vickers-Willis faces more time on the sidelines after rolling his right ankle at training on Friday.
The 21-year-old left the track with the aid of a trainer before walking on his own stead into the club's Arden St headquarters.
Vickers-Willis earlier finished third behind Mitch Hibberd and former Hawk Billy Hartung in the Roos' 2km time trial.
He underwent surgery on both shoulders in 2015, while his 2017 season ended prematurely because of a posterior cruciate ligament injury sustained against Richmond in round 11.
Vickers-Willis' exit during full-field match simulation followed that of last year's first-round draft pick Jy Simpkin, who took no further part after hurting his groin and receiving treatment.
West Australian draftee Kyron Hayden (right shoulder) joined Braydon Preuss, Hibberd and Ryan Clarke – who are also recovering from shoulder issues – in wearing a fluoro limited-contact vest.
But the 18-year-old, a powerfully-built midfielder who broke the running vertical leap record at the Draft Combine, was the only one of that quartet not to take part in match simulation.
Sam Wright (ankle), Ben Jacobs (foot), Taylor Garner and Jamie Macmillan, who has recovered from a finger injury, were unsighted.
Captain Jack Ziebell (toe), Marley Williams (back), Trent Dumont and Ben McKay were on light duties and did not run the time trial, while Nathan Hrovat is still dealing with an ankle complaint.
No.4 draft pick Luke Davies-Uniacke, Majak Daw and Oscar Junker are others on a modified program.
Declan Watson (knee) is North's sole long-term injury, with Ben Brown (elbow), Mason Wood (calf) and Paul Ahern (knee) completing all of Friday's session.
