NORTHERN Territory wingman Raven Marika was named best on ground in the Rio Tinto clash at the MCG after leading the Matthew Campbell-coached team to a 72-point win over a team coached by Peter Yagmoor.
The Campbell Team 16.23 (119) defeated the Yagmoor Team 6.11 (47) and Marika was presented with the medal after the game.
Marika was well supported by young Launceston player Kailem Baker as the Campbell team stretched its lead to 12 goals while Blake Grant also played well for the Campbell team.
The keenly contested game was part of the AFL Rio Tinto Footy Means Business Program that sees 50 indigenous men playing for two teams led by coaches, former Magpie defender Yagmoor and former North Melbourne forward Campbell.
Despite the margin, the game was the most skilful Rio Tinto Cup game since it began in 2010, with players from both sides impressing.
The Footy Means Business program provides participants with exposure to elite AFL programs and training, along with networking opportunities in corporate environments over two developmental programs.
