ADAM Simpson isn't sweating over all the permutations for West Coast to sneak into finals but says the Eagles will "know exactly what we need to do" in Sunday's do-or-die clash with Adelaide.
The club's farewell match at Domain Stadium promises to be an emotion-charged encounter in what could also be retiring Brownlow medallists Matt Priddis and Sam Mitchell's last games.
By playing the final game of the round the Eagles will have the advantage of knowing whether they can still make the top eight by the opening bounce.
The Eagles' season hinges on Collingwood knocking off Melbourne on Saturday, or Fremantle upsetting Essendon – or at least not being blown away – in Sunday's early game.
But Simpson wants his troops to worry about the most important thing – getting the four points.

"It's a unique situation," the West Coast coach said on Friday.
"We had a little bit of this in 2014, I think we needed Sydney to beat Richmond at home, and they didn't, so we played the next day in a bit of a dead rubber.
"I think you've just got to be pretty honest about it, so it's not like (to the players) don't watch it (the Essedon-Fremantle game) and don't think about it.
"We've got a process in place for the preparation. We're separating the emotion of everything about the week, because it's going to be an emotional week for players and our fans and members just in regards to the game.
"It's our last game at Subi, potentially the last game for (Matt) Priddis, obviously Sam Mitchell's at the end as well, so there's a lot of reasons to draw on emotion and, of course the finals machinations that we don't know until probably an hour before we run out.
"So we're really concentrating on the process and don't worry about the emotion or the outcome.
"I'm pretty sure we'll know exactly what we need to do, it won't take much to work out.
"But nothing will help if we don't win, so that's our plan."
The Eagles' hopes of upsetting the League-leading Crows have been boosted by skipper Taylor Walker (toe) and star defender Daniel Talia's (ankle) withdrawals.
West Coast will regain Mark LeCras after two games sidelined by a hamstring complaint, but the out-of-contract veteran's future remains clouded.
"I'm not going to talk about that here. We're really happy with what he's produced in the most part of the year," Simpson said.
"He's had some injuries throughout the season but there's going to be significant changes I would have thought going forward with our list.
"We'll worry about that at the end of the year, though."
The Eagles could unveil father-son recruit Jake Waterman on Sunday in a bid to boost their firepower.
The son of dual premiership player Chris battled a foot stress fracture early in the season but has been in impressive touch at East Perth, averaging seven marks and booting seven goals in the past three games.
"He's come from the clouds a little bit," Simpson said.
"He's still a young kid and it's exciting to see what he can do in the future. He's got natural forward tendencies.
"Willie Rioli is another one we've been really looking at but unfortunately he's just not ready and we don't want to set him up to fail.
"He just won't get through a game. He's got a big pre-season in front of him."
