PEEL teenagers Tyrone Thorne and Ryan Bennell have broken Fremantle star Stephen Hill's longstanding agility test record at the WA Draft Combine on Sunday.
Livewire small forward Thorne (7.761 seconds) and fellow pocket rocket Bennell (7.762) both shaded Hill's effort (7.77) from 2008 during testing at the University of Western Australia.
Thorne, a 167cm and 60kg goalsneak, has drawn comparisons to Eddie Betts for his silky skills and was rewarded for his strong Colts and NAB AFL Under-18s form with a senior WAFL debut this season.

The 18-year-old booted 16 goals in eight Colts matches, and starred in Peel's Grand Final loss with 22 touches, eight tackles and a major.
Bennell, 19, was a late addition to WA's victorious under-18s outfit after a brilliant start to his senior WAFL career when he booted nine goals in four games early in the season.
He also tested strongly in the 20m sprint, stopping the clock at 2.971 seconds.

The Peel duo weren't the only draft hopefuls to impress, with leading contender Ben Sokol building on his best-afield, six-goal performance in Subiaco's Grand Final rout of South Fremantle.
Sokol dug deep to be the last man standing from his group in the Yo-Yo endurance test and the mid-sized 23-year-old forward appears a strong chance to be drafted after winning the WAFL goalkicking with 60 majors.

"That strength stuff and speed is something I've tried to work on since I was 18 or 19, so to test OK in that today was a positive, so I was happy," Sokol said.
"I think I'm just a good a chance as anyone else (to be drafted). I've done what I can in the regular season at Subi, so I put my best foot forward.
"If it happens, I'll be stoked."

After putting his name up in lights by kicking the clinching goal in WA's under-18 championships campaign, Perth product Regan Clarke was another to turn recruiters' heads with a superb 21.8 Yo-Yo test.
Peel's running defender Jarvis Pina, who attracted interest in the mid-season rookie draft, wasn't far behind with a 21.4 effort.
