COLLINGWOOD has announced the re-signing of five players, including veteran duo Travis Varcoe and Ben Reid, who will enter their 14th AFL seasons in 2020.
The quintet, which also features Jack Madgen, Tim Broomhead and Rupert Wills, were among the last remaining Magpies uncontracted going into next year.

All have signed one-year deals, with Madgen doing so as a Category B rookie, ensuring their futures at the club throughout next year.
Their signatures follow the two-year deals signed by youngsters Brayden Sier and Will Kelly earlier in the week, as the Pies prepare to finalise their list ahead of the NAB AFL Draft.
John Noble, recruited during the NAB AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft, is now the only Pie still without a new deal for 2020. However, the youngster has been tipped to pen an extension imminently.
John Noble played five games, including two finals, after being picked up in the mid-season draft.
"Travis and Ben are stalwarts of the club, they’ll continue to bring their experience to our mix and we hope to see their form continue from 2019," Collingwood list manager Ned Guy said in a statement.

"Tim's worked hard in the VFL to return from the injury that cut his 2018 season short, while Jack and Rupert were able to come in and play their role for the team late in the season.
"We're hoping that another 12 months will give them the opportunity to have an even greater impact.
"With Jamie Elliott, Brayden Sier and Will Kelly also signing on this month, we're pleased to see our 2020 list take shape."
