The inside word
The former Sydney Swan will hope for an AFL lifeline after two solid years with Woodville/West Torrens in the SANFL. Sumner moves really well in defence for the Eagles and when afforded time and space the 178cm brother of Gold Coast player Tim Sumner is always dangerous. He played 18 SANFL games this season and at just 22 years of age still has plenty of football in front of him.
