WESTERN Bulldogs midfielder Caleb Daniel looks set to return in Saturday night's clash against Adelaide at Etihad Stadium after overcoming a calf injury.

The 19-year-old, who received the round four NAB Rising Star nomination, has resumed full training duties after being a late withdrawal in the Bulldogs' win over the Brisbane Lions in round five.

Bulldogs football manager Graham Lowe said Daniel had recovered well from the calf injury that had kept him out for the past fortnight.

"Caleb's progressed well back into full training," Lowe told the club's website on Monday.

"He's certainly done the right things to make himself available for selection this week."

Daniel was recruited with pick No.46 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft and has featured in 14 games for the Bulldogs, including four matches this season. 

Meanwhile, Lowe said midfielder Tom Liberatore had been cleared of any serious damage from a corked thigh he received against North Melbourne last Friday night.

He added that the 23-year-old would be monitored over the course of the week before being declared fully fit to play.

"Tom got a corky to his thigh, and quite a significant impact, but he coped well and worked through the game," Lowe said.

"He's come in well today and we'll assess him as we go through the week to confirm his availability for the game this weekend."

Lowe also confirmed that midfielder Lachie Hunter would be monitored throughout the week after he showed signs of delayed concussion following Friday night’s clash with North Melbourne.

Hunter was the subject of a high tackle from North Melbourne’s Lindsay Thomas late in the final term of Friday’s match and will face concussion testing before being declared available to face the Crows.
