GOLD Coast defender Rory Thompson will miss at least two weeks with an ankle injury.
Thompson suffered the injury in the third quarter against Carlton.
Suns football manager Marcus Ashcroft said the state of Thompson's ankle could not yet be determined.
"Rory had scans (on Monday). The doctor is still assessing what they may look like over the next few days," Ashcroft said.
"There’s still a bit of swelling so we don’t know exactly at this point, but he won’t play in the next couple of weeks.
"We’ll make a more accurate assessment by the end of the week."
Trent McKenzie should not miss more than a fortnight after compound fractures to his nose, suffered in the first quarter against the Blues when colliding with teammate Steven May and Carlton forward Levi Casboult.
"(McKenzie) will get corrective surgery (on Tuesday) and then hopefully only miss the next one, maybe two weeks maximum," Ashcroft said.
"(There were) no concussive symptoms.”
The Suns are 3-0 and face the Brisbane Lions and North Melbourne in the next two weeks.
Touk Miller (ankle) and Callum Ah Chee (illness) will be fit to play the Lions.
"Both boys had a week off last week and will train (on Tuesday) and also our main session Thursday," Ashcroft said.
"If they get through that with no issues, then they should be available to play on Saturday."
Mackenzie Willis, an inside midfielder drafted at No. 52 last year, was in a moon boot after the Suns' NEAFL game last Saturday but should be fit to play this week.
