A GROUP of four spectators have been evicted from Domain Stadium after displaying an offensive banner at the West Coast-Fremantle clash on Saturday night.
The group was immediately evicted by security staff.
West Australian Football Commission acting chief executive Gavin Taylor said the banner was displayed for a very short time during the half-time break and praised venue staff and security for acting quickly.
"The banner was removed immediately and those responsible evicted from the stadium and handed over to police," Taylor said.
"We will be working with police and the AFL to ban these people from returning to Domain Stadium. This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated."
An AFL spokesman said the group’s views do not represent the game in any way.
The incident follows a similar one in last week’s Collingwood-Richmond clash.
