TALENTED Adelaide youngster Wayne Milera has been ruled out of Friday night's clash against Hawthorn because of a quad complaint.
Milera, who has played all four games this season, experienced quad soreness late in Saturday's win over the Sydney Swans and will miss at least one match.
High performance manager Brett Burton said the No.11 draft pick needed further assessment.
"We're still gathering information on that and we'll have an update in the next 24-48 hours," Burton said.

In another setback for recruit Curley Hampton, the defender will miss two months following surgery to repair plantar fascia tissue in his left foot.
Hampton, who was recruited from Greater Western Sydney, had been on the verge of returning from a foot injury but the Crows decided "to be aggressive" with his recovery after a setback.
"Curtly's had that foot issue for a while now … he had surgery on Friday just to release the plantar fascia," Burton said.
"That surgery has quite a good success rate, so we expect Curtly to be available again in 6-8 weeks."
The Crows have cleared ruckman Sam Jacobs of any damage following a knee scare against the Swans.
Meanwhile, midfielder Brad Crouch could be available to return from a hamstring injury for Friday night's clash against the Hawks.
