RICHMOND recruit Chris Yarran has played in the Tigers guernsey for the first time, returning from a calf injury in an intra-club match at Punt Road Oval on Thursday night.
Yarran, 25, played 45 minutes of the game before doing extra training afterwards.
The former Blue finished with eight possessions in a match that was broken up into three 27-minute terms.
Yarran's pre-season has been interrupted by multiple setbacks to his calf, and he had previously been mooted to miss the first third of the season.
Last Tuesday, Damien Hardwick said Yarran remains in contention to play in the Tigers' round one game against Carlton on Thursday, March 24.
Sam Lloyd (17 disposals), Corey Ellis (16) and Taylor Hunt (14) were among the major ball-winners in the hit-out.
Rookie Jayden Short kicked three goals.
