West Coast v Western Bulldogs

2nd Elimination Final
Domain Stadium
LOCKOUT: 6.10pm AWST, Thursday, September 8

It’s all about picking players with the highest ceiling in this match. Lachie Hunter knocked up his highest score of 2016 last time the two sides met. If Josh Kennedy gets on the end of a few and kicks a bag, he is a worthy captain option. Going with two Bulldog defenders will be popular as Matthew Boyd and Jason Johannisen were among this season’s top performers down back.

Geelong v Hawthorn

2nd Qualifying Final
MCG
LOCKOUT: 7.50pm AEST, Friday, September 9

Every man and his dog will be locking in Patrick Dangerfield and giving him captaincy. Could you go against him against the Hawks as a unique option? Scratch that. The Hawks are one of his favourite teams as he averages 125 points against the reigning premiers. Maybe you could choose to go against Luke Hodge in the backline? But then again, he is known as Mr September for a reason.

Sydney Swans v Greater Western Sydney

1st Qualifying Final
ANZ Stadium
LOCKOUT: 3.20pm AEST, Saturday, September 10

With so many star-studded midfielders in both sides, the players you select for your engine room could be the difference in this match-up. Throw a blanket over Luke Parker, Dan Hannebery and Josh Kennedy as they’re sure to reach triple figures. Young guns Tom Mitchell and Stephen Coniglio have shown they can post big numbers. Handing one of those guys the responsibility of captaincy may be a smart move.

Adelaide v North Melbourne

1st Elimination Final
Adelaide Oval
LOCKOUT: 7.10pm ACST, Saturday, September 10

The Crows have been the highest-scoring Fantasy team this year, so loading up on them looks to be a good idea. In saying that, the Kangaroos have been quite restrictive, ranking as the third-hardest team to score against. Tom Lynch and Jarryd Lyons should continue their good form into the first week of the finals and are worthy to take your two forward places on your field.
