FREMANTLE star Nat Fyfe will miss Sunday's clash with Greater Western Sydney to rest his corked quad.
Fyfe has been battling the injury since he a controversial clash with Sam Mitchell in the Dockers' round 15 loss to Hawthorn at Aurora Stadium in Launceston.
The Brownlow Medal favourite has battled through the past two matches with compression strapping and padding on his quad. He looked hampered at times during the Dockers' thrilling win over Richmond, but played out the whole game.
His past three games, including the Hawks clash in Tasmania, have been his three least prolific games in terms of disposals for 2015 - 20 disposals against Hawthorn, followed by 23 against Carlton and 25 against Richmond.
He has also had to be managed at training during the week.
Dockers coach Ross Lyon confirmed to Channel Seven on Tuesday night that Fyfe would miss Sunday's clash with GWS at Domain Stadium.
"He's a little bit sore. We are going to give him some treatment and he won't play this week," Lyon said.
