WE ARE on the lookout for some players under $200K to cash out some of our rookies and look to make upgrades.
Unfortunately there aren’t too many on the radar at the moment.
We may have to think outside of the box in order to improve our Fantasy squads during this challenging part of the season.
Midfielders Patrick Cripps, Cam Ellis-Yolmen, Ben Newton and Touk Miller (among others) are reaching their peak in price and while they are producing some solid scores, many coaches are keen to upgrade them to fallen premiums such as Tom Rockliff or Michael Barlow.
To do this, cash is required and at the moment, it is hard to come by.
The answer could be trading one of these rookies who is approaching their peak price for a mid-priced player on the up.
Bulldog Mitch Wallis scored 121 on the weekend and had the potential to average over 85 if he can match his output in his sophomore year.
With a break-even of 42, Wallis should increase in value while posting good Fantasy scores on a more consistent basis than some of the first and second year players in our midfield.
Search through the stats centre on the Fantasy website to find a nugget who might get you some points while helping you upgrade to a premium performer.
The Traders will be looking for the next lot of cash cows as the round nine teams are announced in the live Fantasy chat from 6.15pm AEST.
