SUMMARY
Greater Western Sydney came off the bye with a gutsy performance against Richmond at the MCG but couldn't quite finish the job. The pressure they put on the Tigers must continue against St Kilda, who smashed Essendon in a remarkable result. GWS play well at home and will need to get their season back on track against the Saints with their speed and tackling. This match will feature some of the competition's best young talent and should be a cracker.

THE SIX POINTS
1. The Giants' key forwards were the difference in round one, with Jeremy Cameron booting four goals and Cam McCarthy three. Shane Mumford dominated the ruck with 36 hit-outs and Adam Treloar had 32 possessions.

2. The Giants continue to struggle in contested possessions; they're ranked last averaging only 126 per game, while the Saints are 13th at 135.2 per game.

3. Last week against Essendon the Saints kicked their highest score (25.12) since round 22, 2012. They also recorded their biggest win (110 points) since a 128-point victory over the Giants in round 22, 2012.

4. The Giants have been impressive at Spotless Stadium this season, winning three of four games, while St Kilda travels to the venue for the first time.

5. The Giants are the least accurate side in 2015 in front of goals, kicking 164 goals, 169 behinds at 46.3 per cent. The Saints are equal fifth, with 166 goals, 138 behinds at 52.7 per cent.

6. St Kilda midfielder David Armitage (46) is the only Saint inside the top 50 of the AFL's official player ratings. The Giants have three, gun on ballers Callan Ward (13), Ryan Griffen (20) and Adam Treloar (28).

IT'S A BIG WEEK FOR …
Aidan Corr As one of the Giants' few key defenders still on the park, Corr faces another huge task against the Saints. With co-captain Phil Davis, Joel Patfull and Nick Haynes all unavailable, Corr will have to contend with Nick Riewoldt, Josh Bruce, and Tim Membrey, who kicked 11 goals between them last week. Will need enormous help from the GWS midfield.

PREDICTION: Greater Western Sydney by 10 points.
