WEST Coast has re-signed midfielders Patrick McGinnity and Kane Lucas, while father-son Alec Waterman and Murray Newman headline the cuts to the Eagles' squad for next season.
However, Waterman, the son of dual premiership player Chris, is set to be re-drafted by the Eagles as a rookie after a difficult first season blighted by his battle with glandular fever.
Strong midfielder Brant Colledge – who tested the waters during the recent NAB AFL Trade Period – has been axed, but is contracted for 2016 and will return to the club in the rookie draft, if not picked up by another club.
Tough utility Simon Tunbridge has been cut from the senior list after playing seven games since being recruited via the rookie draft in 2012.
McGinnity, who played in the qualifying final win over Hawthorn and was a Grand Final emergency, has earned another season on the list after featuring in nine games this season.
The persistent 26-year-old has notched 90 games and booted 24 goals since he was recruited from Claremont via the 2008 pre-season draft.
Like McGinnity, former Carlton first-round draft pick Kane Lucas has re-signed for another year.
Lucas played 42 games in five years for the Blues before being thrown an AFL lifeline last year and, although the rookie-listed onballer is yet to debut for West Coast, performed strongly for East Perth late in the season and was a regular senior emergency.
Small forward Murray Newman departs the club in a year when he made an emotional return to football in round 21 after putting off-field issues behind him.
But the former first-round draft pick only played two matches – taking his career tally to six games - and has now been dropped from the rookie list.
West Coast has now shed 11 players from this year's squad, with Scott Selwood (Geelong), Matt Rosa (Gold Coast) and Callum Sinclair (Swans) finding new homes during the off-season.
The Eagles also added Lewis Jetta (Swans), Jack Redden (Lions) and Jonathan Giles (Essendon) during the Trade Period.
"On behalf of the club I would like to both welcome the new additions to our playing list and also acknowledge the contribution of those players who will no longer be a part of the organisation," general manager of football Craig Vozzo said.
"This can be a brutal time of the year when young men who have played significant roles at the club have to be released and I would like to thank those departing players for their efforts in their time at West Coast."
