St Kilda v Hawthorn
Kicking off the final NAB Challenge games before the real season starts were a near full-strength Hawks outfit against an undermanned St Kilda. From the start this game wasn't going to be pretty. Nine Hawthorn players went on to score more than 100 points in what was a very one-sided affair.

Jordan Lewis (MID, $621,000) was simply on fire for his 143, which included 33 disposals and 10 marks. He averaged 110 last year, including monster scores of 144, 156, 108 and 149 across the Fantasy finals series. Believe it or not, but he's only owned by 6 per cent of Fantasy coaches.

Jarryd Roughead (FWD, $502,000) also cashed in with 141 as did Sam Mitchell (MID, $526,000) with 131. Mitchell is priced at an average of only 93 and can certainly improve on that this year.

The talk of the night though was all around Matthew Suckling (DEF, $437,000) and Josh Gibson (DEF, $442,000). Suckling came into calculations with his 114 and Gibson backed up his score of 91 last week with 112. They're both priced under an average of 80 and their roles do seem more Fantasy-friendly this year. 

For the Saints, Jack Steven (MID, $491,000) fought hard for his 117 and Jack Newnes (DEF/MID, $464,000) locked himself in after his impressive 101. Over his three NAB Challenge games he has averaged a very respectable 91.

Melbourne v Essendon
The argument is brewing, do we pick Heritier Lumumba (DEF, $402,000)?

Based on this game, the answer has to be yes. Lumumba was brilliant with 31 disposals and 113 points. He has averaged 88 in the past and looks set to be around that mark again with his new club. He has done enough to win over Roy and Warnie as they have him locked into their sides. As for me … I'm not sold on Lumumba just yet.

Christian Salem (FWD, $193,000) pumped out 91 in just 79 per cent game time, making him a now certain starter in many Fantasy forward lines after his 118 last week.

He's been battered and bruised all pre-season but we finally got to see more of rookie-listed Aaron vandenBerg (MID, $120,000). In his first two NAB games he scored 52 and six before being injured. He turned the tables though and scored a very solid 71 in 73 per cent time on the ground.

Laughlan Dalgeish (DEF, $219,000) kicked the goal of the night, which helped his score of 51. He only found the ball nine times, which was a little disappointing, especially after his great score of 75 last week.

Popular selections Ben Newton (MID, $192,000) and Jesse Hogan (FWD, $194,000) both held their own throughout the night scoring 72 and 48 respectively. Newton played four games with Port Adelaide last year and looks at home with his new team.

Gold Coast v Brisbane Lions 
Top scoring at Metricon Stadium was Harley Bennell (FWD/MID, $484,000). He scored 95 last week and racked up 31 disposals for his score of 111 this week.

Dion Prestia (MID, $568,000) played his first NAB Challenge game and only spent 68 per cent of the game on the ground for his 93, but the news of the night was that we still didn't get to see Gary Ablett (MID, $675,000). He has many Fantasy coaches questioning on whether to start him or not after a limited pre-season.

Kade Kolodjashnij (DEF, $387,000) continued to shine with 87 and ruckmanZac Smith (RUC, $366,000) threw himself into the mix yet again with 84, backing up the 81 he posted in the first week of the NAB Challenge.
New recruit Nick Malceski (DEF, $521,000) stood up and will be the quarterback for the Suns this year. He scored 82 and his teammates looked for him at every opportunity.

Daniel Rich (MID, $268,000) did enough again with 71. Many coaches are tossing up between Rich and Nathan Van Berlo for a position on their ground and after tonight, Rich should be given the thumbs up.

Dayne Beams (MID, $609,000) top scored for the Lions with 109. He is motoring at the moment and looks set to average more than the 108 he is priced at.

Coaches who have paid top dollar for Tom Rockliff (MID, $763,000) are starting to think twice. After averaging 135 last year, Rockliff has played in all three NAB games but has failed to score more than 100. In this game he managed 89, but did it in only 68 per cent game time. Don't stress too much, Rocky is scoring at the same rate as Beams, well over a point a minute.

My message to Rocky owners is simple: do not panic, just wait until the real season starts.

Matthew Leuenberger (RUC, $277,000) was much better this week with his score of 73. He played 68 per cent of game time and showed patches of his best, especially after concerning scores of 21 and 47 in his other NAB performances.

Richmond v North Melbourne

Dustin Martin (FWD/MID, $553,000) has had a smashing pre-season and continued against the Kangaroos on Saturday night. He scored 98 in only 78 per cent game time and has one of the best scoring rates per minute of anyone in the competition.

Brett Deledio (FWD/MID, $548,000) also scored 98 and the guy everyone is waiting for to be promoted to the senior list, Kane Lambert (FWD/MID, $120,000) scored just 43. Over the NAB Challenge he has posted 69, 39 and 43. He's too cheap to ignore and will fill a bench position for many Fantasy coaches if he's named for round one.

Many hopeful coaches were watching this game to see if Taylor Hunt (DEF, $329,000) could back up his 88 from last week. Sadly, he didn't. He scored 57 from nearly a full game and although he's priced at an average of 64, many Fantasy coaches will now be passing on the former Cat.

Todd Goldstein (RUC, $496,000) top scored for the game with 104 and Daniel Wells (MID, $356,000) continued to impress with his score of 92. He's only priced at an average of 69 and is really cheap for what he is a capable of.

Brent Harvey (FWD/MID, $565,000) proved once again that age is no barrier, scoring 94. Boomer is only owned by 4 per cent of coaches and would be a very sneaky pick in your forward line.

Port Adelaide v Adelaide

With 139 points, Travis Boak (MID, $540,000) top scored for the game after collecting 34 disposals and laying 10 tackles. He was everywhere, as was Ollie Wines (MID, $517,000) who had his best NAB Challenge game with 116.

Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $546,000) continued on from his first NAB game where he scored 110 and posted an effortless 99.

Bargain pick Tom T. Lynch (FWD, $327,000) impressed with 93 and after being priced at an average of only 62, he's a quality selection in your team if you can make room for him in your forward line.

Nathan Van Berlo (MID, $272,000) was solid again with 62 and although I don't have him, he's certainly did enough to warrant selection at his price.

The biggest Fantasy news that came out of this game was once again Cam Ellis-Yolmen (MID, $120,000). He scored 82, just beating his previous scores of 66 and 70. He is owned by only 12 per cent of smart Fantasy coaches who have their fingers crossed he will feature come round one.

Two guys who didn't feature in this game were Karl Amon (MID, $120,000) and Nathan Krakouer (FWD/MID, $142,000). How much do we read into this? Both of these guys have been impressive over the pre-season but failed to make the cut in the final game. Are they in the best 22? Or were they being rested? Time will tell.

Western Bulldogs v Collingwood
Marcus Bontempelli (FWD/MID, $392,000) sent Twitter and Facebook into overload with his 144 points. Many Fantasy coaches already had the kid locked into their teams and now, many more will as well. The issue I have with the 'Bont' is that he will cop tags from opposition clubs as the year progresses. Levi Greenwood spent some time with him in the game before leaving the field with an ankle injury (unlikely to play round one) and it did make an impact on his game. However, Bontempelli was amazing and after a performance like this, he will now have a target on his back.

Luke Dahlhaus (FWD, $494,000) was also busy for his 133 and Mitch Wallis (MID, $329,000) appears to have shaken his 2014 tagging duties, allowing him to post a very good 109.

If elevated off the rookie list, Brett Goodes (DEF, $192,000) must be in your team. He scored 99 and let's not forget, he did average 79 back when he made his debut in 2013.

Mitch Honeychurch (FWD, $179,000) scored 76, slightly more than the 72 he scored last week. He is so cheap and has certainly proved himself over the pre-season as a worthy selection.

The big guns for the Pies found plenty of the ball. Steele Sidebottom (MID, $612,000) top scored for his team with 113 and Scott Pendlebury (MID, $614,000) and Dane Swan (FWD/MID, $531,000) chipped in for 101 and 96 respectively.

Taylor Adams (FWD/MID, $404,000) might be a sneaky option in your forward line after he racked up 32 disposals for his score of 112.

GWS v Sydney Swans
The game started badly, with Lance Franklin (FWD, $536,000) being knocked out after a collision. The good news is that he is fine and is expected to play in round one.

Luke Parker (MID, $585,000) lit up the scoreboard, and made his way into many Fantasy teams after his score of 120. Although he has lost his dual position status, he's destined to dominate again and may just be a top-eight scoring midfielder by the end of the year.

Ryan Griffen (MID, $485,000) didn't lose any fans and was solid for his 83, but it was Phil Davis (DEF, $296,000) who led the scoring for the Giants and raised his bat for his score of 100.

Heath Shaw (DEF, $456,000) has had a great pre-season and looks set to lift his game to a new level this year. He scored 83 after 82 last week.

Rookie Isaac Heeney (MID, $246,000) scored 78, but Tom Mitchell (FWD/MID, $432,000) stole the show with his blistering 84 points in just over half a game. No one doubts his ability to score big, but there are way too many questions around his role at the club. If he gets his wish and is released into the midfield, Mitchell can easily average 95-plus this year.

Carlton v Geelong
Patrick Cripps (MID, $163,000) should be sitting in many Fantasy teams and proved this again with a great score of 119. He has scored 58 and 75 over the pre-season and is one of the easiest picks you'll make this year.

He won't set the scoreboard on fire, but Ciaran Byrne (DEF/FWD, $120,000) has scored 63 and 61 in his last two NAB games. At that price, he is a perfect bench option if he gets elevated off the rookie list.

Steve Johnson (MID, $613,000) turned up for his first game for the pre-season with a mediocre score of 65 from nearly a full game. He'll be much better for the run and will be fit and ready for the first game of the year.

After scoring 108 last week, Mitch Clark (FWD, $156,000) proved himself a worthy selection with 74 this week. Jimmy Bartel (FWD, $562,000) cruised around for his 84, but … wait for it … he only played less than half a game. What a gun! And when you add that to his previous NAB scores of 110 and 111, you can easily see that Jimmy is back to his Brownlow best.

A huge smokey for 2015 has to be Harry Taylor (DEF, $390,000). Over the NAB he has scored 84 and 97 and clocked up 10 marks for his score of 92 on the weekend. He is priced at an average of 69, which is cheap considering his form and the fact that averaged 79 in 2013.

West Coast v Fremantle
Nathan Fyfe (MID, $579,000) is under-priced and has the potential to boost his average to 110 this year. He collected 29 disposals over the weekend for his score of 113.

Chris Masten (MID, $496,000) averaged 88 last year, 10 points less than he averaged in 2013. He too is under-priced, proving that with a great score of 120.

Lachie Neale (MID, $466,000) posted 79 points, a shadow of the 131 he had last week.

The question of whether Andrew Gaff (MID, $526,000) can take his game to the next level has been answered. He scored 107 and has now averaged 97 over the pre-season.

After scoring 99 in the first week of the NAB Challenge, Brad Sheppard (DEF, $377,000) was quickly placed into many teams. After his last two scores of 68 and 46, many coaches are now reversing that decision and replacing him with Garrick Ibbotson (DEF, $336,000). He averaged 92 in 2013 and scored 65 over the weekend.

Clancee Pearce (DEF/MID, $280,000) has scored 93, 20 and now 72 over the pre-season. He now creates a tough decision for Fantasy coaches. If we can ignore his second game, he would be a 'lock' in our backline.

Over the last two years, Nic Naitanui (RUC, $413,000) has averaged more than 90 in games that Dean Cox missed. With the retirement of the Fantasy star, Naitanui now has the rucking duties all to himself. He only scored 48, but this was his first game for the pre-season and he'll be much better than that come round one.
