THE BRISBANE Lions have continued to roll out their new guernsey numbers for the 2016 season, with Carlton recruit Tom Bell to wear the No.7 last worn by former skipper Jed Adcock.
Adcock wore the guernsey for every one of his 206 games over 12 seasons with the Lions, before he was delisted and snapped up by the Western Bulldogs in the NAB AFL Rookie Draft on Friday.
Bell has been given his new number along with fellow recruits former North Melbourne midfielder Ryan Bastinac and ex-Cat Josh Walker
Bastinac will wear the No.4, last worn by James Aish, while Walker will don the No.14 worn previously by retired utility Brent Staker.
Young midfielder Jarrad Jansen – who also came to the Gabba from Geelong – was presented with Jonathan Brown's No.16 earlier this month.
The remaining draftees' numbers will be announced later this week.
