A DOCUMENTARY focusing on AFL club captains and leadership has been recognised at an international film festival.
Peter Dickson's The Chosen Few 2, which aired on Channel Seven nationally during Grand Final week, won an 'Award of Recognition' in the documentary feature category at the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival.
According to the festival website, "films are judged and scored on the quality of the project."
The 90-minute film, which included interviews with the captains of 17 clubs, leadership experts and former AFL club skippers, primarily considered whether leaders were born or made.
Dickson said he was thrilled the film had been recognised by genuine "critics of the craft."
"I was really pleased the people judging this were looking at the quality of the project. That's nice to know," he said.
Dickson's 2014 film The Chosen Few documented AFL club coaches and also received international recognition.
