TY VICKERY is expected to miss just one game with a knee injury after being cleared of serious structural damage.
The 24-year-old forward needed scans after hurting his knee in Richmond's VFL practice match on Saturday.
He limped off the field in the first quarter and didn't return.
Further examination since has revealed swelling and bruising around the joint but the ligaments are intact, meaning he should be available to play in round three of the AFL season.
Vickery wasn't picked for the Tigers' season opener against Carlton on Thursday night with Damien Hardwick sticking with the Jack Riewoldt-Ben Griffiths combination that was preferred in last year's final.
Meanwhile, midfielder Reece Conca's hamstring soreness - that stopped him from facing the Blues - looks like holding him up for another week.
Conca isn't expected to be available for the Western Bulldogs clash on Saturday at the MCG.
However, veteran midfielder Nathan Foley is likely to play in the Tigers' VFL practice match against Footscray this Saturday after overcoming a foot injury.
Ty Vickery is a $369,000 forward in NAB AFL Fantasy this year. Set up a live draft and take on your mates in Fantasy Elite now.
