NAT FYFE might be one of the more enjoyable midfielders to watch but how many NAB AFL Fantasy coaches will pay top dollar for a bloke with dodgy shoulders?

There's no denying his 2014 season was terrific, and ahead of Christmas the elite midfielder said he felt he was on track to restart his pre-season after the festive break.

He averaged over 102 points last year and was a prolific fantasy scorer across 18 games but the right shoulder injury he suffered in an International Rules practice match might cast some doubt over his durability.

Basically, if you want him this year, he's going to cost you $579,000 – and the likes of Trent Cotchin [MID, $571,000] and Levi Greenwood [MID, $576,000] are cheaper.

Danyle Pearce (FWD/MID) is one of five dual position players for the Dockers, and at $444,000 can offer good value with his average of 78.41 from last season.

Do you roll the dice on Anthony Morabito (MID, $143,000)? He got back playing in 2014 but started the pre-season in the rehabilitation group. Big call, even when priced so cheap.

And, there's always Matthew Pavlich (FWD, $418,000). The forward averaged nearly 74 points last year, but could be considered past his best when it comes to Fantasy scoring.

Lachie Neale [MID, $466,000]: Has proven he can win the ball and did it over 23 games last season. Is sure to soar in price if he racks up the sort of numbers he did in 2014, when he averaged over 23 touches a game. He's becoming a consistent member of the Dockers' side and if the way he finished last season is any indication, he's set for a significant year.


Anthony Morabito [MID, $143,000]: One of the unluckiest young players in the competition, the promising midfielder played three games last season after three knee reconstructions since 2010. Suffered a minor knee injury in September and started pre-season in the rehab group with the Dockers being very cautious with his recovery but could provide a hot bargain if he picks up in the new year.
 

Colin Sylvia [FWD, $163,000]: Off-season ankle surgery won't help the 29-year-old's case to play more games in 2015. The former Demon managed just six in his first year at Fremantle and will need to get fit – and put in a huge showing in the NAB Challenge – if he's to play much this year. Don't be tempted by his cheap price tag.
