An exciting opportunity has arisen for an extremely driven, proactive and hard-working person to join our Football IT Team in the role of IT Support Officer – Football.
We are looking for someone with a unique skill set and background. To be the successful candidate, you will be a qualified and experienced IT Support Officer however you also have an in depth understanding of the game of AFL. This means more than just being a fan and watching Footy…..you need to have a passion for and comprehensive understanding of the game.
Your understanding will be matched by your willingness and ability to learn new skills in the Football IT Analyst area as the club will develop you to be able to provide these services in addition to general IT support.
In terms of qualifications and technical skills, you have qualifications in Information Technology and at least three (3) years’ experience in IT support or a related role.
You are very experienced and comfortable with providing support for both Windows and MAC operating systems – this includes experience with support for mobile computing devices such as iPads, Tablets and Smartphones.
Finally, you are a quick learner that picks up new systems quickly and can work well under periods of intense pressure.
This is not a typical 9-5 role and therefore your ability and willingness to work out of hours as required as well as at all game days is essential.
