SHARROD Wellingham is in severe doubt for West Coast's final NAB Challenge game against Essendon on Sunday after he failed to train on Tuesday morning.
Wellingham made a brief appearance at the Eagles' open session at Domain Stadium but only did some very light mobility work and stationary kicking.
He spent some time chatting with coach Adam Simpson and Eagles physio Paul Tucker and also helped facilitate a training drill for his teammates without participating in it.
The 27-year-old has had an unusual summer. He missed some training last month after cutting his foot at the beach.
He then missed the first NAB Challenge match against Adelaide but was expected to play against Gold Coast last week.
However, Simpson ruled the former Magpie out of the clash with the Suns after Wellingham copped a knock at training.
Midfielder Mark Hutchings is also in doubt to face the Bombers. He was ruled out of last week's match due to a minor niggle and only ran laps at training on Tuesday along with Chris Masten and Lewis Jetta.
Masten appears ahead of schedule in his bid to return from a nasty ankle injury, while Jetta has pulled up well following a calf twinge against the Suns.
Luke Shuey is set to return against the Bombers having missed the clash with the Suns due to a knock on the knee. He trained with the main group on Tuesday.
Josh Kennedy will also return after only playing a half against Gold Coast following a head knock. Kennedy said he had pulled up well after being rested in the second half.
"I just got a knock to the jaw in the first quarter," Kennedy said at a function on Tuesday afternoon.
"It was just a normal knock. I didn't think much of it but I went a bit dazey there in the second term and couldn't remember too much. The doctor made a call to pull us out which was good and I rested up over the weekend and I'm feeling really good training this week so I should be fine for Sunday."
Key defender Eric Mackenzie trained on Tuesday having pulled up well from his first game back following 12 months out due to a knee reconstruction.
