GEELONG forward Rhys Stanley has no case to answer for his bump on West Coast's Brad Sheppard, with the Match Review Panel throwing out his match day report.
Stanley, who had been reported for rough conduct, was cleared after vision showed his forceful bump did not stray high.
The big Cat arrived fractionally late to a contest with Sheppard and braced his body to bump, sending the 24-year-old Eagle straight to the Simonds Stadium turf.
There were no suspensions arising from round seven – the first clean round this season – with three players handed fines for low-level offences.
All players sanctioned have accepted their fines.
Carlton midfielder Dale Thomas has accepted a $1000 fine for striking Collingwood forward Alex Fasolo, with the MRP grading his hit intentional with low impact to the body.
His strike was the sixth punch to the stomach, or 'tummy tap', spotted and penalised by the MRP this season.
Greater Western Sydney midfielder Stephen Coniglio and Lachie Neale each accepted $1000 fines for striking each other in Saturday night's clash at Domain Stadium.
It was the first MRP strike for both players this season.
Gold Coast defender Clay Cameron was cleared of any wrong doing after making accidental contact to midfielder Jack Viney's head in Saturday night's clash against Melbourne.
The panel said Cameron had changed direction to allow teammate Jesse Lonergan collect the ball and made accidental contact to Viney, who was pursuing Lonergan at the time.
