VETERAN Sydney Swans defender Ted Richards will take no further part in Friday night's clash against Hawthorn after suffering a heavy knock to the head.
Richards went back with the flight and took a courageous mark, but as he feel back his head hit the turf hard.
The 33-year-old remained on the ground as trainers attended to him before getting to his feet and jogging off.
After undergoing a concussion test during the second term, Richards emerged from the rooms with a tracksuit top on.
Richards has already missed two games this year after fracturing his cheekbone in the round five win over West Coast.
