FREMANTLE defender Zac Dawson has accepted a three-match suspension for his high bump on Sydney Swans midfielder Jake Lloyd in Sunday's clash at Domain Stadium.
Dawson, who slid into Lloyd after the Swan had fumbled, making contact to his opponent's head with his shoulder, had his base sanction increased to four matches because of his bad record, reduced to three with the early guilty plea.
It is the defender's eighth charge in his 163-game career, with his lengthy list of offences totalling seven weeks on the sidelines.
The MRP used a medical report from the Swans in determining its penalty after Lloyd went from the ground because of the head knock and did not return.
Dawson, who is contracted until the end of 2017, will be available for the Dockers' round 23 clash against the Western Bulldogs.
The MRP laid a total of six charges out of round 19, with North Melbourne's Jed Anderson accepting a $1000 fine for his high bump on St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt.
Collingwood's Jonathon Marsh accepted a $1000 fine for intentionally striking West Coast midfielder Luke Shuey, as did Brisbane Lions midfielder Nick Robertson for intentionally striking Port Adelaide captain Travis Boak.
Port's Jackson Trengove and Lions forward Josh Walker accepted $1000 sanctions for wrestling each other.
The MRP assessed Geelong midfielder Mitch Duncan's potentially dangerous tackle on young Bulldog Caleb Daniel, but the Panel ruled there was insufficient forceful high contact for a charge to be laid.
Forceful contact between the Brisbane Lions' Rhys Mathieson and Port Adelaide forward Chad Wingard was also assessed, but the 50m penalty paid at the time was deemed appropriate.
