We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Membership Operations Manager to ‘Don the Sash’ and join our Membership Team based at our club headquarters in Melbourne Airport.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Membership, an excellent opportunity exists for a hands on, motivated and passionate operations manager. The Membership Operations Manager will have a proven desire for leading, motivating and mentoring a team to achieve overall sales targets. They are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and know how to inspire their team to do the same.
Working closely with the Retention & Engagement Manager the Membership Operations Manager will be responsible for delivering all operational functions supporting Membership & Ticketing, as well as the reporting, tracking, expenditure and staff management related to these functions. This role has three direct reports and is directly responsible for managing the Members Services Team Leader and Reception.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for the role, candidates must have the following essential skills and experience in:
- Leading and managing a team and motivating and encouraging high performance
- Managing a large scale delivery program and executing all fulfilment requirements
- Managing cost budgets and reporting
- Customer relationship management with a strong focus on complaint resolution
- Demonstrated experience and capability to manage customer data ensuring its integrity
- Managing and working with complex databases with exposure to a CRM system
- Ability to work flexibly across 7 days during the football season
- Permanent Residency in Australia, or appropriate visa to work permanently
Other attributes which we would value but are not essential include:
- Managing a large inbound or outbound call centre
- Relevant tertiary qualifications combined with a minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Previous AFL experience or experience in a member based organisation
- Knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics system is desirable
