THE WESTERN Bulldogs' worst fears have been confirmed with scans revealing forward Travis Cloke will miss 4-6 weeks with broken ribs.
The 30-year-old sustained the injury when North Melbourne captain Jack Ziebell cannoned into him in the final term of the Bulldogs' thrilling three-point win over the Kangaroos on Good Friday.
He played no further part in the game and was taken to hospital after the conclusion of the match.
Fellow big man Tom Boyd also didn't complete the game after he received delayed concussion from a contest with North's Scott Thompson in the first term.
The 21-year-old will be accessed later in the week to determine whether he'll be available for next Saturday's clash with the Brisbane Lions at Etihad Stadium.
In further worrying news, ruckman Tom Campbell could also be in doubt for next week, after injuring his ankle during the match.
The 25-year-old played out the game to hold his own against Todd Goldstein and Braydon Preuss.
Versatile forward Stewart Crameri appears unlikely to be a solution to the club's injury concerns, with the 28-year-old looking proppy after playing a half in the VFL on Saturday in his return from a hip injury.
Crameri limped up the race in deep conversation with coach Luke Beveridge, and wasn't seen again.
Teenage ruckman Tim English should come into contention for a debut following an impressive display in Footscray's loss to Box Hill.
The 19-year-old competed strongly in the ruck and took several contested marks around the ground.
