GOLD Coast has been dealt another blow ahead of the QClash against the Brisbane Lions with Pearce Hanley withdrawing with a hamstring injury.
Already missing Gary Ablett (hamstring) and Tom Lynch (knee) from last week's side, the Suns have now lost another key player to injury.
Hanley was named in the initial team on Thursday night, but pulled up sore after Friday morning's training session.
He was one of his side's best in last week's loss to Fremantle, collecting 24 disposals and booting his first goal in Suns colours.
First-year midfielder Jack Bowes comes into the side, while Brad Scheer has been added to the emergencies.
The match will be the club's first since Rodney Eade was sacked with interim coach Dean Solomon to take the reins.
