WEST Coast would seriously consider trading for Alex Fasolo if the crafty Collingwood forward seeks a return to WA, according to Eagles football manager Craig Vozzo.
Fasolo, who battled depression issues mid-year, is contracted until the end of 2018 but the East Fremantle product has been linked to a move home after seven seasons and 100 games with the Pies.
The 25-year-old booted 29 goals in 19 games this season and could appeal to the Eagles' hierarchy as they seek to put more firepower around spearhead Josh Kennedy.
"Alex is a really good player. He obviously plays forward and that's an area we're looking to improve," Vozzo told 6PR.
"I think he's a contracted player, though, but if he was someone who became available we'd definitely need to consider it seriously."
The Eagles this week re-signed veteran forward Mark LeCras, who has had surgery on an ankle issue he carried in the last month of the season, and have high hopes for yet-to-debut goalsneak Willie Rioli.
But they don't appear to be in the running for Gold Coast small forward Brandon Matera, who had a medical at Fremantle on Friday.
Meanwhile, experienced half-forward Josh Hill is one of several uncontracted Eagles in limbo until the end of the NAB AFL Trade Period.
"Josh Hill, Tom Lamb and Sharrod (Wellingham), they'll be decisions we'll be sitting on until we get through the trade period to work out exactly where we sit," Vozzo said.
"They might look at their options as well, but we'll see how that all pans out."
Vozzo said West Coast would be open to trading its first pick in the draft, No.13 overall.
The Eagles are determined to bolster their midfield after the retirements of Matt Priddis and Sam Mitchell, and need more running power.

"We're always looking at improving our list," Vozzo said.
"Obviously we'd love another A-grade midfielder – they're very difficult to get – and a small forward as well.
"If we thought we could get the right player we'd look at the best way we could to achieve that for our footy club."
The Eagles have bid farewell to senior assistant coach Justin Longmuir, who has joined Collingwood's re-shaped coaching panel, and are weighing up whether to add to the support around senior coach Adam Simpson.
Mitchell has stepped into West Coast's coaching ranks and Subiaco mentor Jarrad Schofield is on the Eagles' radar.
Schofield led the Lions to 19-straight wins in the WAFL this season and into a fourth-straight Grand Final.
"Jarrad's got an outstanding record, both at junior level and what he's done at Subiaco," Vozzo said.
"You couldn't have done a better apprenticeship, so he'd appeal to a lot of clubs, including us.
"We've got Sam Mitchell coming in, so the question will be whether or not we add a coach to our panel.
"If we do, Jarrad would be definitely someone we'd look at."
