Swisse VFL Women's

Of note:
- Just four players in the team of the year are not on AFLW lists – Sarah Jolly, Jenna Bruton, Tanya Hetherington and Ashleigh Riddell
- Chloe Molloy appeared to have injured her collarbone in the Grand Final, putting her in some doubt for the NAB AFLW Combine in Melbourne on October 3-4
- Moana Hope transferred from St Kilda to Melbourne University in late June. But the Sharks had the last laugh, beating Uni in the elimination final

- Sam Virgo was close to best on ground in the Grand Final before rupturing her ACL
- Jade Ransfield rebounded from her delisting from the Brisbane Lions in style, tying for leading goalkicker
- Under-18 Queensland representatives Tahni White, Jessi Henning and Gabby Collingwood were named in the team of the year
Mundella West Australian Women's Football League
Grand Final: Swan Districts 6.8 (44) d Coastal Titans 2.3 (15)
Best and fairest: Jodie White (Coastal Titans)
Leading Goalkicker: Kira Phillips (Peel Thunderbirds) – 38 goals
Rising Star: Sabreena Duffy (Peel Thunderbirds)
Of note:
- Jodie White returned to the game after a two-year break to take out the best and fairest at the age of 36
- Leading goalkicker Kira Phillips put her name up to be re-drafted by Fremantle after her delisting earlier this year
- Rising Star Sabreena Duffy, 17, is still another year away from being eligible to be drafted
XBlades AFL Sydney Women's
Grand Final: UNSW/ES Stingrays 13.8 (86) def Sydney University Bombers 3.1 (19)

Leading goalkicker: Rachael Stack (Sydney University Bombers) – 43 goals

- Sydney University lost to only one team throughout the season, eventual premiers UNSW/ES Stingrays
- Amanda Farrugia has now won two best-and-fairest awards and finished second twice in the past four years

- Salisbury was missing star Chelsea Randall in its Grand Final loss due to NAB AFLW state of origin commitments
AFL Canberra Women's

- Karina Demant scored the most goals of any female state league player around the country with 68
- Britt Tully needed a best-on-ground performance in the final round to win the best and fairest, overrunning Belconnen's Jodie Hicks
Tasmanian State League Women's
Grand Final: Launceston 8.6 (54) def Glenorchy 5.3 (33)
The TWL is due to hold its awards night on October 13.
TIO Northern Territory Women’s Premier League
The NTFL season starts on Saturday October 7.
